When you contact us or book an assessment, we collect the information you provide, such as parent or guardian name, student name, email address, phone number, grade, assessment type, appointment details and any test scores or goals you choose to share. For SMS, we maintain consent and opt-out information and message interactions. Our website also uses cookies and similar technologies that collect device, browser, page-visit and interaction information.
How We Use Information
We use information to arrange assessments, prepare appropriate tutoring recommendations, respond to questions, manage student and family records, send service emails and, with SMS consent, send appointment texts. We use website activity information to understand site usage and measure advertising performance.
SMS Information and Consent
We do not sell, rent or share mobile numbers, SMS opt-in data or consent records with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We do not transfer SMS consent to another business for its independent use. We use this information to provide the requested messaging service, handle support requests and meet applicable obligations.
Service Providers
We use service providers to operate our website, bookings and communications, including TutorBird for scheduling and family records, Zapier for workflow connections, Klaviyo for email and SimpleTexting for SMS. Providers receive information needed to perform services on our behalf, not to use SMS consent for their independent marketing. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety.
Cookies and Advertising Measurement
Our website uses Google Analytics, Google Ads tracking and the Meta Pixel to measure visits, interactions and advertising results. These services may collect identifiers and browsing activity through cookies and similar technologies. You can manage cookies in your browser and advertising preferences through Google and Meta. Blocking cookies may affect some website functions. SMS opt-in records are not provided to advertising platforms for their marketing.

You may book an assessment without agreeing to SMS. Reply STOP to stop appointment texts; reply HELP for assistance. Email preferences are managed separately, including through an unsubscribe link where provided. Contact info@knowledgeworksacademy.com to request access to, correction of or deletion of information. We may need to verify your identity and retain information required for legitimate operational or legal reasons.
Retention and Security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, maintain consent and opt-out records, resolve issues and satisfy applicable requirements. We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no online transmission or storage system is completely secure.
Information About Students
Booking forms are intended for parents, guardians and adult students. Parents and guardians may provide information about their children so we can deliver educational services. Children under 13 should not submit personal information through the website themselves. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted information without appropriate permission.
